Guest Services teams believe that first impressions make a huge impact. Therefore, these teams are made up of individuals who love creating welcoming environments for every guest at Graceway. From directing you to a parking space to selling you the newest sermon DVD, our Guest Services teams strive to get your attention and set the stage for what’s coming.
Greeting Team
If you’ve never met a stranger, this team is for you. Greeters are energetic, talkative, and friendly. The Greeting Team actively demonstrates God’s love with every smile and hello they give on Sundays.
Time Commitment: 45 minutes before and 10 minutes after a service, every week or every other week
Age Requirement: 12-years-old
Information Team
This team is known for their well organized, outgoing, quick-thinking personalities. The purpose of the Information Team is to provide details about G2C to the guests at each service. From overseeing sign-ups to answering questions about Groups and volunteer teams, the Information Team is a multifaceted area of service.
Time Commitment: 45 minutes before and 10 minutes after a service, every week or every other week
Age Requirement: 18-years-old
Volunteer Headquarters Team
The attendants in VHQ love meeting new people! They assist volunteers with check-in, help them through the plug-in process, and ensure that all volunteers feel welcomed and appreciated. If you enjoy showing people the ropes, Volunteer Headquarters may be the team for you.
Time Commitment: 1 hr and 15 minutes on Sunday, every week or every other week
Age Requirement: 18-years-old
Usher Team
The Usher Team exists to make sure that everyone present experiences a distraction-free service. The ushers guide people to the nearest available seat in a quick and orderly fashion. It is their goal to express the love of Christ through their willingness to help our guests find the perfect seat.
Time Commitment: 45 minutes before a service and the last 5 minutes of the service, every week or every other week Age Requirement: 18-years-old
Parking Team
At G2C, before anyone even sets foot out of their car, they have already received a warm welcome from the people of this team. The parkers add a new level of service to Graceway. This team is truly on the frontline. Without these volunteers, entry and exit into the campus would not only be slower, but also less fun!
Time Commitment: 1 hr on Sunday, every week or every other week
Age Requirement: 18-years-old
Security Team
At Graceway, we place high priority on the safety of every guest who attends our church. The members of our Security Team are entrusted with the task of providing a distraction-free environment for worship. These volunteers secure our children’s areas, oversee general meeting places, and are on hand for any situations that may arise.
Time Commitment: 1.5 hrs on Sunday, twice a month.
Age Requirement: 21 years old.
